8 Week Mindfulness Stress Based Reduction (MBSR)
MBSR is an 8-week experiential programme based on research that teaches us how to use mindfulness in daily life. First developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, it is the most widely researched mindfulness intervention programme in the world.
The course will equip you with guided and tailored instruction, mindful yoga, formal and informal exercises, home assignments, and audio files.

We all make mistakes in life, whether it’s losing patience with loved ones, making errors at work, or forgetting tasks like paying a parking ticket. In these moments, when we face our own flaws, it’s common to be overly harsh with ourselves. We might think we don’t deserve kindness and that being tough on ourselves will make us improve.However, research on self-compassion over the last ten years tells a different story. It shows that criticizing ourselves doesn’t lead to better health, happier relationships, or career success. Instead, treating ourselves with kindness during tough times, as we would treat a close friend, is more effective for achieving long-term wellbeing.
